This was the second property Smith & Butler had worked on for these clients so we had a good understanding of their style. It also meant we could be a little bolder with the schemes to create a beautiful family home for the next chapter of their lives.

Maximising storage space in the kitchen was really important, so we designed a fitted dresser in addition to the rest of the units and added a bar/wine room which doubled as a pantry. Library units were designed to wrap around a bespoke sofa in the living room, giving it a cosy feel and some definition from the more formal seating area. Upstairs, the master suite was completely reconfigured to allow for more wardrobes and a spacious, light and airy bathroom. Pops of colour were added throughout to give the house a younger, more vibrant feel, taking inspiration from the clients’ existing art collection.
